This is the first intimate panel event in a series called ‘The Way We Work’. The way we’ve been working since the industrial revolution is no longer working. Wages are stagnating, UK productivity lags and there’s a war for talent - the ‘future of work’ we keep hearing about is now! We will be examining the epidemic of our time - depression and anxiety - exploring examples of progressive working practices from around the globe that make workplaces happier and more productive places. These panels will be action-oriented, focused on sharing best practice and moving the people agenda forward. There'll be a small expert panel followed by Q&A and networking. Moderated by talent consultant Jane Fordham, the panel includes;
- The powerhouse that is Nicky Imrie, trail-blazer, entrepreneur and founder of virtual PR agency, The PR Network
- Rob Stephenson, business owner, career recruiter and mental health campaigner
- Nicola Millard, Head of Customer Insights & Futures at BT
- And Gethin Nadin, author of Amazon HR best-seller, A World Of Good
Jane Fordham Consulting is a business founded upon passion and purpose. The motivation and belief grew as she climbed Africa's highest peak in summer 2017 and solidified in November 2017 as for the third time, she supported the back2businessship returner programme, founded by the dynamic duo; Amanda Fone and Liz Nottingham. Witnessing the impact that this programme has on each individual and observing the energy of the group, had a profound effect on her and so she was driven to find a way to make a similar impact on a daily basis. Working with individuals, policymakers, HR professionals, line managers and business leaders Jane helps to make more equal, more productive and happier workplaces.
