We are turning two and we are celebrating two years of growing, of changes, improvements, but also of LIBRARY friendships, new connections and good times. To mark this special occasion we asked LIBRARY founder, creative force and very own Librarian-in-Chief, Ronald Ndoro a few questions:
What are you the most proud of?
I am most proud of all the staff and team that have joined us on the journey and made us what we are- its not been the easiest of roads - so a big thank you to everyone that has contributed.
The biggest challenges?
The biggest challenge was creating an exciting and engaging events calendar. We understand our members and I feel we have an events calendar to be proud of.
What are you focused on the most at the moment?
Overcoming our challenges - right now our focus is solely on marketing and service delivery. If we can master both of them at the same time then we can fully realise the vision of the club.
Who is the perfect member for the club for you?
Someone creative and curious looking for a space to escape, entertain and be entertained. Someone inspirational looking to be inspired and looking for a second place to call home or office.
Does LIBRARY have plans for birthday celebrations? Any birthday events?
Of course, in true LIBRARY fashion we have many plans! Last year we had the legendary Roy Ayers and guests. This year we have a week of events planned starting with Quincy's comedy night on the 23rd of June, then we have our Members party on 24th, and one more party on 25th with a burlesque artist, then on Monday cabaret style chansons night with Daniel Donskoy, on Tuesday the legendary Angie Stone hosts her Stone love Party, and we will finish it all off with a conversation between Jon Snow and Nick Higham. Please do come along - if you are a member it's free for you plus up to 3 of your guests and if you are a non-member - you may request a day pass for the event you would like to attend.
Any thoughts you want to share with members ?
Just to say thank you for all your support over the last 2 years and long may it continue.
