Let's face it: 99% of us are not good with change, whether that's in our personal or work life. However, to quote a million cheesy affirmations, change is the only certainty. How you choose to actively wield it makes all the difference. It can be scary. It can seem overwhelming. But it can also be empowering, cleansing and hugely positive. And it doesn't have to be big and dramatic - small changes sometimes can be the most impactful.
In this 90-minute session, author and journalist Poorna Bell will tell her own story about what prompted her big life change - to quit her job in senior leadership at a corporation to go travelling for 8 months.
She will then interview and chat to author and journalist Marianne Power, whose book Help Me! is about a year long quest to change her life by following the rules of a different self-help book each month for a year. They'll look at how you create life change, why it's necessary, dealing with the discomfort and learning from your mistakes.
There'll then be an opportunity to ask questions and answers and have a discussion towards the end.
