August and After are making their debut performance at LIBRARY with the launch of 'The Looking Glass', the first of four singles the indie-folk duo will be releasing this year.

Inspired by a seemingly innocuous line in a Counting Crows song ("all at once you look across a crowded room to see the way that light attaches to a girl"), the song explores themes around body image, superficiality and perception in society. Driven by a desire to get their audience a bit more involved, they are trying something a little different with this release and unveiling the song with a very special cross-disciplinary event in the beautiful, intimate and exclusive surroundings of LIBRARY; featuring an introspective art installation, a discussion group curated by Trigger Conversations focussing on the themes explored in the song and, of course, a live performance.
