This October, LIBRARY will be playing host to the UK launch of Mentalmorfosis, an illustrated book designed and hand-drawn by Mexican ‘free thinker’ and artist, Franz De Paula.
De Paula’s professional background is in creative advertising and design. As well as providing artistic direction in campaigns for international brands including Panasonic, Revlon, Campbell’s and American Express, he has also worked as a regular collaborator in contemporary art, film and music publications.
His latest work, Mentalmorfosis, is his personal manifesto setting out a revolutionary and inspiring thinking scheme that he aims to turn into a global critical thinking movement. Rather than a work with any traditional narrative, Mentalmorfosis presents a collection of images and thoughts, which come together to communicate its philosophy.
Join De Franz at LIBRARY on 15th October as he discusses his unique creation, and his aim to change our perceptions of both our reality and ourselves.
